Falling Flowers

Falling Flowers tells the story of Xiao Hong, a renowned Chinese writer, as she reflects on her life in a nearly abandoned hospital during the 1941 bombing of Hong Kong. The film explores Xiao Hong's struggles with societal expectations, unrequited love, and personal turmoil, all while she attempts to make a name for herself in a male-dominated literary world. Through her conversations with an admirer, we learn about her journey from a young girl from Hulan county to a successful writer, and the sacrifices she made along the way.
