Aldo e Franco (Franco Califano e Pippo Franco) sono due squattrinati che vivono in un vecchio istituto abbandonato da anni. Un giorno, viene abbandonato di fronte all'edificio un bambino nero, che i due decidono di prendere in custodia. Al sesto anno di età, un prete si accorge della "strana" situazione e consiglia ai due uomini di adottare il piccolo, ma l'impresa non è affatto semplice.
