In the gritty streets of Alma-Ata in 1987, a young boy named Arsen must navigate the treacherous world of teenage hierarchy and violence after moving to a new school in the city center. As he becomes embroiled in the "District Movements," Arsen must choose between conforming to the harsh rules of the streets or staying true to himself, all while facing the brutal realities of growing up in a crime-ridden city.
