Dharmadurai

Dharmadurai, a once-respected doctor, has turned into an alcoholic and become a source of embarrassment for his family. After his brothers plot to kill him, Dharmadurai's mother helps him escape and he leaves the village, taking the chit-fund money with him. He meets an old friend, Subhashini, who takes him in and helps him overcome his addiction. Dharmadurai reveals the truth about his past and Subhashini supports him in his journey towards redemption. They fall in love and decide to get married. Dharmadurai returns to his village to make amends with his family and give back the money, but his brothers are still wary of him. In the end, Dharmadurai's actions prove that he has truly changed and he is able to start a new life with Subhashini and their unborn child.
