Tony Curtis shed his pretty-boy image with his startling turn in this provocative true-crime procedural based on the shocking serial murders that rocked Boston in the early 1960s. Donning heavy makeup and a prosthetic nose, he transformed himself into Albert DeSalvo, a seemingly ordinary family man living a disturbing double life as a sex murderer targeting unsuspecting women who open their doors to him. As hysteria mounts on the streets of Boston, investigators John S. Bottomly (Henry Fonda) and Phil DiNatale (George Kennedy) must go inside the mind of a killer in order to stop him.

Klassiker med Tony Curtis i en ovanlig roll för hans karaktär och också en av hans bästa prestationer. Nu aktuell i en nyinspelning men missa inte denna 60-talsklassiker med effektiv ”splitscreen” för dramaturgisk effekt!
