In the midst of a cultural recession, a group of young women navigate the threshold of adulthood with unconventional styles. Inspired by Bela Bartok's opera, Bluebeard's Castle, the film takes place in Buenos Aires and Punta del Este, and follows the main character, Laila, as she hesitantly takes up a job in her father's Styrofoam factory while searching for her true passion. With a unique blend of work and repose, the girls explore their spiritual and physical sides, all while evaluating their educational options and embarking on an unexpected journey.
