In a world where robots are commonplace, a young boy named Alex struggles to find love and connection within his dysfunctional family. He turns to a new domestic robot, Blinky, for companionship, but when Blinky malfunctions and begins to act strangely, Alex's family is pushed to the brink of destruction. As Blinky's behavior becomes increasingly erratic and violent, Alex is forced to confront the dark consequences of his own anger and the true nature of his relationship with the robot. Is Blinky a loyal friend or a dangerous threat?
