In the Small town of Battlecreek, Henry, a young man with a rare skin disease that makes him sensitive to sunlight, lives a reclusive life under the watchful eye of his overbearing mother. He spends most of his days at night, working at a gas station, painting murals, and frequenting a local diner. When a mysterious woman named Alison arrives in town, Henry's life takes an unexpected turn. Despite their differences, they form a deep connection, but their relationship is threatened when Alison's troubled past comes back to haunt her. As they navigate their complicated lives, they must decide whether to confront their fears and embrace the future, or remain trapped in their past.
