Jawbreaker

In this dark comedy, a group of high school friends accidentally kill their most popular classmate, Liz, during a prank gone wrong. To cover up the murder, they enlist the help of an outcast student, Fern, who they transform into a beautiful and popular exchange student named Vylette. But as Vylette's popularity grows, Julie, one of the friends, becomes increasingly guilty and distant from the group. When Fern discovers Courtney's true intentions and broadcasts a recorded message of her confessing to Liz's murder at the senior prom, the group falls apart and Courtney is publicly shamed.
