In 1991, a young Canadian film student follows the love of his life to Italy, but their reunion is complicated by unexpected encounters and misunderstandings. Along the way, he meets a charismatic street performer and a free-spirited Greek woman, who challenge his perceptions of love and relationships. As he navigates the picturesque streets of Perugia, he must confront his feelings and make a choice between the woman he thought he loved and the new experiences that Italy has to offer.
