Director Philippa Lowthorpe... ...does a fine job of balancing the fact-based developments with imagined conversations and cinematic flourishes, all set against the background of hip and happening and restless 1970 London.

Keira Knightley, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Jessie Buckley add pop to the feminist pageant comedy, while Greg Kinnear serves up an icky Bob Hope worth despising.

Verklighetsbaserad, brittisk feelgood om veckorna som ledde upp till feministprotesten som skapade kaos på Miss World-tävlingen i London 1970.

...enkel och lättsmält men charmig historielektion över rätten att få bli behandlad som människa.

Manuset är stundtals så kraftfullt och relevant att jag vill att filmen ska visas på historielektionerna i skolor runt om i Sverige.
