Visuelt og stemningsmæssigt er ’The Watchers’ skøn. Farverne og kompositionen i den grå skov pirrede agorafobien i mig.

Det är en sådan härlig känsla att se färskt blod inom skräckfilm leverera något nytt och annorlunda. Så mycket mer än bara monster i skogen och en perfekt distraktion från trötta franchises, uppföljare och remakes.

Öppningen är stark, och trots klichéer dras man in i "The Watchers" direkt av fotot, ljuddesignen och den effektivt krypande och obehagliga stämningen.
