Like the earlier show, Gen V is very good at making superpowers look visually dynamic, as well as coming up with creative uses for them.

This blood-spattered Hogwarts is not for the faint of heart.

Just as breezy, ultra-violent, and sharp as its predecessor 'The Boys', this Superhero University series is plenty of briskly paced good fun.

...strong enough to entertain fans who are desperately waiting for a new season of The Boys to crash into their lives.

What could have easily been a generic follow-up that borrows liberally from other teen sci-fi fare is instead looking to set the new standard for superhero TV in 2025.

As strong as the first season, if not stronger.

Taken on its own merits, the spin-off series graduates to a sophomore year that's more confident, more ambitious, and more earnest than what we've come to anticipate.
