The real pleasure, though, comes in the simple drama of being stuck, of the sense of impending doom, and of the desperate effort to survive whatever hell is coming and return to terra firma—the world that used to make sense.

It continues to be visually glorious – perhaps even more so than season 1 – as we're exposed to the harsh landscapes of the Arctic, the claustrophobic yet sprawling Stac, and the UK dealing with the aftermath of the tsunami.
