This is a ghost movie for the arthouse crowd, featuring an ethereal figure that’s decidedly low-tech and not a phantom dependent on CGI effects and eerie frights.

David Lowery’s “A Ghost Story” is so original that I want to tell people to just see it without reading any reviews beforehand, including my own.
