In the desolate steppes of central Asia, a young man named Asa returns to his sister's nomadic family after completing his military service. With dreams of becoming a modern shepherd, he sets out to create his own future, but first, he must win the heart of the mysterious and elusive Tulpan, the only eligible bachelorette for miles. Despite his best efforts, Tulpan remains unimpressed, and Asa must prove himself worthy of her love and respect.
