The Great Raid

The Great Raid is a thrilling war drama that tells the true story of the daring rescue mission of over 500 American prisoners of war from a Japanese POW camp in the Philippines during World War II. The elite 6th Ranger Battalion, led by Lieutenant-Colonel Henry Mucci, must push 30 miles behind enemy lines and face treacherous terrain, dangerous obstacles, and fierce Japanese resistance to liberate the prisoners. The film takes viewers on an intense journey of bravery, heroism, and survival as the Rangers race against time to save the POWs before they are killed by the Japanese forces. With the help of Filipino guerrillas and Alamo Scouts from the Sixth Army , the Rangers launch a daring raid on the POW camp, fighting against all odds to free the prisoners and bring them to safety.
