What is One Day about? 
One Day follows the intertwining lives of Dexter and Emma, two friends who meet on their graduation day in 1988. They spend a night together but decide to remain just friends. The film then jumps forward one year, then another, and so on, showing glimpses of their lives on each subsequent July 15th.
