Neruda

In 1948, Chilean Senator Pablo Neruda, a communist and renowned poet, is pursued by the police after criticizing the government. He and his wife Delia go into hiding, but Neruda continues to evade capture, using his cunning and poetry to inspire resistance. Their game of cat and mouse continues, with Neruda always one step ahead. Eventually, Neruda escapes to Argentina, where he becomes a famous exile, while his pursuer, Oscar Peluchonneau becomes lost in his own identity.
