Fabian, a successful bank executive, finds himself in a crisis after a colleague's sudden death. As he struggles to come to terms with his own mortality, he meets a famous blind author who offers guidance and support. Despite his wife's efforts as a psychologist, Fabian becomes increasingly entangled in a complex web of relationships, including a passionate affair with a young artist he believes is his inevitable love.
