The Muppets are back in an all-new adventure! Walter, the world's biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams), discover that a greedy oil tycoon, Tex Richman (Chris Cooper), is planning to destroy the Muppet Theater to drill for oil. To save their beloved theater, the trio must reunite Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, and the rest of the Muppets for the greatest Muppet telethon ever! But it won't be easy, as Fozzie is now a performer at a casino in Reno with a band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a fashion editor for large sizes at Vogue in Paris, Animal is trying to control his temper at a clinic in Santa Barbara, and Gonzo is a successful plumbing magnate.
