Greed

Greed is a satirical comedy-drama film that follows the story of Sir Richard McCreadie, a billionaire fashion mogul who is struggling to restore his tarnished public image. Despite his wealth and influence, McCreadie's business practices are revealed to be unethical and exploitative, and he relies on sweatshops in Southeast Asia for his fashion lines. As he prepares to celebrate his 60th birthday with a lavish party on the island of Mykonos, tensions arise among his family and celebrity guests, and a group of Syrian refugees camped on the public beach refuse to leave. In a climactic moment, McCreadie is mauled to death by a drugged lion during his party, and his death is followed by flattering eulogies and a hagiographic biography. The film ends with facts about exploitation and inequality within the fashion industry being shown over the credits.
