Going the Distance

Going the Distance is a romantic comedy that follows the story of Erin (Drew Barrymore) and Garrett (Justin Long), two young adults who meet in New York City and fall in love. As they navigate their summer romance, they face the challenges of a long-distance relationship, with Erin due to return to San Francisco and Garrett staying in New York for work. Despite their initial reservations about commitment, they decide to continue their relationship remotely, relying on texts, sexts, and late-night phone calls to keep the spark alive. As they navigate the ups and downs of their long-distance love, they must confront their own doubts and insecurities, as well as opposition from friends and family who question the viability of their relationship.
