Ema

Ema, a young dancer, is struggling to come to terms with her failed adoption of Polo, a troubled child she and her estranged husband, Gaston, had brought into their lives. As she delves deeper into her own desires and sense of self, Ema finds solace in the liberating power of dance and the reckless abandon of wild sex. But as she tries to reclaim her life and find a sense of purpose, she must confront her dark past and face the harsh realities of her new reality. Will she be able to escape the weight of her guilt and find a way to move forward, or will she succumb to the all-consuming passion that threatens to engulf her? 'Ema' is a raw, unflinching portrayal of a woman's quest for self-discovery and redemption, set against the pulsating backdrop of modern-day Chile.
