Estelle Fiori-Sanchez has had enough. Her sadistic husband, feared gangland boss Eduardo Sanchez, has finally taken a step too far in his ruthless pursuit of power and respect. A murdered family in his wake, Estelle has turned state’s evidence. But in order to be moved to safety, she and her son, Ari, must first be protected by the best of the best. These guardians come in the form of mercenaries Solomon Pearce and Tom Twelvetrees—two ex–Special Forces soldiers with a dislike for each other, but a determined focus on the job at hand. With interference from corrupt police and the approach of violent gun for hire Jason Cortes and his team, this extraction will be far from simple and, quite likely, impossible.
