Raw

Raw (2016) is a French-Belgian horror film directed by Julia Ducournau. It follows the story of Justine, a 16-year-old girl who begins her first semester at veterinary school, where her older sister Alexia is also a student. During the hazing rituals, Justine is forced to eat raw rabbit kidneys, which awakens in her a strange and terrifying desire for meat. As she struggles to suppress her newfound cravings, she starts to experience unexpected physical changes and violent outbursts. The film explores themes of cannibalism, sexuality, and identity as Justine's transformation progresses from curiosity to obsession. Despite the concern of her loved ones, she continues down a dangerous path that leads to shocking consequences.
