Shoelaces

"Shoelaces" is a powerful drama about the complex relationship between an aging father, Reuben, and his special-needs son, Gadi. Abandoned by his father as a young boy, Gadi now wants to donate a kidney to save his father's life. However, the transplant committee objects, claiming Reuben doesn't have the right to authorize the procedure. Gadi is determined to fight for his right to save his father, and their journey raises questions about love, rejection, and human connection.
