Hvad der i starten ligner et kammerspil med tilbageholdt åndedræt og kløgtige reptiler, udvikler sig til en sand tour de force af gulvet er lavet af lava-legen, hvor det gælder om at holde sig oven på møblerne, ellers dør man.

Specialeffekterne er aldeles glimrende, og Scodelario er rigtigt godt castet. Hun ser skrøbelig ud, men hun er så afgjort i stand til at tage vare på sig selv...
